Mark your calendar now so you don't miss our celebration at Aviana Banquets at
11142 S. Southwest Highway (at 111th St.) in Palos Hills, Illinois. Aviana owner Myron Rodak is looking forward to hosting the event for and meeting his fellow Carpatho-Rusyns.
Doors will open at 1 P.M. followed by a family-style dinner of roast beef, golden fried chicken and fresh Polish sausage with sauerkraut. The menu also includes whipped potatoes, a vegetable medley and a choice of either an amaretto or dreamsicle ice cream parfait.
Our after-dinner entertainment will be the Tatra Slovak Dancers from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The group was highly recommended by those who have seen their performances. They will be clad their new ethnic outfits which recently arrived from Slovakia.
Reservations are $30 for adults and $17.50 for children under 12. Please send your reservation checks made out to C-RS/Lake Michigan Chapter to our treasurer Maureen Solan at 8921 Ditola Ct., St. John, IN 46373. Checks must be received by April 15.
