Festivities begin on Friday at 5:30 pm and continuing until 10 pm. Saturday's hours are from 12 noon to 10 pm and Sunday's from 11 am to 7 pm.
The 3-day event includes activities for people of all ages--from the art fair to games to music to church tours. You won't want to miss the prairie tour either. The parishioners have done an incredible job of preserving the prairie that surrounds the church. With numerous bands taking part, everyone can find one to his or her liking. Check the poster below for further offerings.
Our Lake Michigan Chapter of the Carpatho-Rusyn Society booth will feature Rusyn items such as icons, pysanky kits, CDs, DVDs, Easter basket covers and other embroidered items as well as Rusyn flags and T-shirts and a variety of books and other items.
There will also be a table with Rusyn genealogical information and our chapter's project of gathering and preserving information about Rusyns and their churches in Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan. We will also display Rusyn items that people have donated to our chapter in order to preserve them.
Hope to see you there!
